The university delegation's visit to the United Kingdom continues

🇬🇧 As part of the university delegation's visit to the United Kingdom, cooperation ties were established with a number of prestigious higher education institutions.

🎓 In particular, during the visit to Ulster University, a meeting was held with a team led by Professor Jim Harkin, head of the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Intelligent Systems. Issues discussed included the allocation of grants for PhD programs, the launch of a cotutelle program, and the organization of joint educational programs in computer science and game development.

🤖 Additionally, the delegation closely acquainted themselves with the university's scientific and educational laboratories in robotics, engineering, neurotechnologies, and VR technologies, as well as its libraries and modern material and technical base.

🤝 During the visit, an important meeting was also organized with Queen Mary University in London. Negotiations were held with the SEMS – School of Engineering and Materials Science faculty and officials responsible for international relations in the field of Science and Engineering.

👨‍🏫 Professor Alexander Clark, Dr. Jae-Hwan Park, and Professor Arsen Abdulali participated in the meeting, discussing opportunities to accept researchers for PhD programs at the initial stage of cooperation.

🔬 During the visit, advanced laboratories such as "Chip design," "Robotics," and "Material Design," as well as facilities created for students, libraries, and new educational buildings were closely examined.

📊 For reference, Queen Mary University ranks 110th in the QS ranking and 134th in the THE ranking, while Ulster University is ranked among the TOP-600.
