


A cybersecurity seminar-training for students was held on 30 March at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies.
The main objective of the event was to enhance students’ knowledge and skills, enrich their practical experience in countering modern cyber threats, and increase their interest in the field.
The seminar-training was organised in parallel with the CTF competition within the framework of the University Cup.
Experts with both international and local experience delivered presentations on the following актуальные (relevant) topics: • Ravshan Rikhsiyev (ONESEC) — “The Art of Reverse Engineering”;
• Shodiyor Abdurasulov (ONESEC) — “Bug Hunting”;
• Akmaljon Sodiqov (Turansecurity) — “What is CNA? Can You Earn Money by Studying Cybersecurity?”;
• Yoldoshali Esonaliyev (Turansecurity) — “Workshop: Web Systems Security”;
• Abdumutal Abdumutalov (Turansecurity) — “Android Application Security: Static Analysis Methods”;
• Mashhura Rakhmonqulova (Cybersecurity Center SUE) — “Protection from Modern Threats”;
• Nabijonov Azamjon (DataGaze) — “Cybersecurity Is Not Just ‘Hacking’”;
• Nurullayev Khushvaqt (Updive) — “Security Monitoring & SIEM Fundamentals”.
During the seminar, participants became familiar with:
• current cyber threats;
• real-life security issues;
• methods of preventing them.
Through practical sessions, they also had the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge.
At the end of the event, active participants were rewarded, and attendees were given the opportunity to engage directly with the experts.
