TUIT Representatives Participate in the Uzbekistan–Tajikistan Rectors’ Forum

Representatives of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies took part in the third forum of rectors of higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, held in Dushanbe. The forum focused on the development of modern engineering and digital technologies.

👨‍🏫 At the session titled “Engineering Education, Digital Technologies, and Industrial Cooperation”, Shavkat Turayev, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of TUIT, delivered a presentation.

💬 Key points of the presentation: • Artificial Intelligence (AI): a new strategic direction for cooperation between universities of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan;
• Research projects: practical outcomes of AI-related research conducted at TUIT;
• Industrial integration: prospects for implementing IT developments in the production sector.

🗣 During the session, agreements were reached on exchanging experience and implementing joint innovative projects in areas such as energy, industrial automation, and nanotechnology.
