The TUIT team became a prize winner in the CTI-2026 “Digital Forensics Award” nomination

🇷🇺 At the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics , within the framework of CIFR-2026, an international online competition among students on investigating incidents and cybercrimes – “CAPTURE THE INTRUDER” took place in the “Digital Forensics Award” nomination.

🏛 Two teams from Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi participated.

🔎 During the competition, students were required to conduct an in-depth forensic analysis of network traffic files captured during suspicious activity on a corporate mail server.

🧠 While completing the tasks, students demonstrated not only their knowledge in digital forensics and incident investigation but also stress resilience and teamwork skills, which are important for a modern cybersecurity specialist.

🥉 According to the competition results, TUIT’s “BlackChain” team proudly took 3rd place.

🏆 The award ceremony for the winners and prize-winners took place during a roundtable dedicated to the international aspects of training specialists in information security within the CIFR-2026 festival.
