At the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, on the occasion of "Youth Day," the "Rector's Cup–2026" volleyball competition was launched among students as part of the "Student League" sports contests.

The main goal of this competition is to promote a healthy lifestyle among students, further increase interest in sports, and strengthen team spirit and a competitive atmosphere.

The games on the first day of the competition were intense and competitive. Teams from the university faculties competed against each other, demonstrating athletic skill, speed, and teamwork abilities.

The results of the first day's matches were as follows:

The matches within the framework of the "Rector's Cup–2026" contribute to making students' leisure time meaningful, increasing their physical activity, and further strengthening an environment of friendship and unity through sports.
